I am so excited to share the images that I captured at the only winter wedding I have ever taken on! I haven’t been able to post in a while as I have been incredibly busy with my full time classes in education, so I am also excited that I will be posting more often now that things are slowing down a bit :). I still have lots to share from last summer, including Jolie and Jeff’s engagement photos!
Here are some of my favourite images from Jolie and Jeff’s’ beautiful winter wedding this past January. I normally don’t take on winter weddings as I am usually busy with school, but Jolie and Jeffs’ happened to fall on the perfect date between semesters! I was so excited to hear from these two, I shot Jolie’s sister Valerie’s wedding last summer as well so I knew that this one would be a blast to shoot too! Jolie and Jeff are such laid back, kind people and Jamie and I so enjoyed the pleasure of being able to capture such a big moment for them. I was able to head out to Jolie’s family’s acreage again for some shots of the girls getting ready, what a great way to start the day! Jolie’s family was so kind and welcoming the first time around, I knew it would be a fun day again! Jolie and Jeff got married and had their reception and dance at the new Holy Family Cathedral. It was such a great ceremony with many laughs, smiles and happy tears. Luckily we had a pretty nice day for January, but the wedding party were still such troopers in their sleeveless dresses and cold ears and hands! Despite the chilliness and the lack of January snow, we still managed to find a few patches of snow and to get some great images! Jolie and Jeff had a beautiful reception with many tear jerking and laugh inducing toasts. I knew, from experience with Jolie’s family, that the dance would be great fun and it didn’t disappoint!
Jolie and Jeff I am so happy to have been able to take part in your big day.
The two of you are such a wonderful couple and I wish you all of the best in your future :)
Here’s just a little peek in to what was my very first winter wedding! What a beautiful day, cant wait to share more!
Have an amazing honeymoon in Panama Jolie and Jeff!
Just had to post a little preview of this cute family!

Chris and Roseannes’ beautiful Ukrainian wedding took place this past July. I was so excited when Roseanne contacted me about her wedding. You might remember her from, one of my first weddings ever, her sister Lorraine’s wedding a few years ago. I had remembered Roseanne’s fun and outgoing personality from spending the day with her and couldn’t wait to reconnect with her, not to mention her wonderful family :).
The day started off at Roseanne’s parents’ with hair and make-up. I always love pre-bridal time as everyone is always so relaxed but so excited. There were many fun, funny and exciting moments prior to the ceremony including a big bouquet of roses arriving for Roseanne. The ceremony was held in one of the coolest churches in Saskatoon! From the architecture, to the giant blue windows to the opulent walls, it made for some beautiful ceremony photos! Roseanne and Chris have such a beautiful connection, it is great to watch them interact with one another. There were so many fun touches to this wedding as well, a couple of my favourites included the Iron Man themed cufflinks and cake topper, and the fun summer colours that Roseanne chose. Mother nature had originally intended to rain down on us, but fortunately the clouds opened up for us and we were able to get some beautiful photos! These two definitely know what they are doing in front of the camera, they are so photogenic I didn’t want to stop! So, time to see what I’ve been raving about; enjoy!

While I was in Eston, SK for Courtney and Ryans’ wedding I had the opportunity to take some grad photos for Shauna. I was so excited to take these photos for Shauna, she has always been so complimentary of my work and I just knew she would be super photogenic! It was a hot hot sunny day, but Shauna was a trooper in that big beautiful dress.
Congrats Shauna!
